  • Do I have to pay my deductible?

Yes, you are required to pay your deductible. Attempting to avoid this payment is considered insurance fraud. Be cautious of companies offering to incorporate the deductible into their costs, as this is illegal. Engaging in such practices could result in serious legal consequences for both you and the contractor.
  • What type of shingles do you use?

We use CertainTeed Landmark. It's a class 3 impact resistant architectural shingle with a lifetime warranty. Our second choice of shingles would be Owens Corning Duration followed by GAF Timber ridge. While all are good shingles, we base our shingles on the best value to our customers. We do not cut corners installing a low grade product to put more money in our pockets. Just as tuckpointing protects the integrity of masonry by sealing and strengthening joints, we believe using premium shingles is essential for preserving the long-term durability of your roof. According to This Old House, nearly 31% of homeowners nationwide have pursued roof renovation, repair, or maintenance projects, which highlights why choosing high-quality materials and professional installation is so important.
  • How do you protect our yard?

During the tear off stage we lay tarps to capture material and nails. However, some items may miss these tarps. So we always do a walk through after tear off and roll the yard with a magnet. We will also do a final walk through after completion to pick up anything missed and roll the yard again for nails. As residential roofers, we follow these detailed cleanup procedures to keep your property safe and free of debris throughout the entire roofing project.
  • What's the process for my new roof?

Step 1: We always start with a tearing off the current material. Once the roof is bare bones we inspect the roof decking for damaged or weak boards and replace if necessary. Step 2: Lay new premium fully synthetic felt. Step 3: Replace all facets. Drip edge goes around the perimeter of the roof to strengthen shingle edges. Replace pipe boots, roof vents, and rain caps. Step 4: Lay Ice & water shield in hips, valleys, peaks, low slope areas, and any penetration points. Step 5: Install new shingles Step 6: Place ridge vents on all peaks Step 7: Roll yard with magnet for loose and dropped nails.
